昭阳区田坝乡地处偏远山区，经济发展条件落后，基础设施短板较大，仅有花椒种植为地方群众带来经济收入，近年来通过政府不断加强产业扶持和基础设施建设，落后面貌有了较大改善，但全乡农业基础条件薄弱，产业发展结构单一，特色规模不足，整体发展水平较低的问题依然突出，未来几年应强化花椒龙头企业引进，加大产业培育，强化技术运用，实行科学管理，提升劳动力素质水平，助力产业发展，带动群众增收致富。
